Developed with Paris-based agency Herezie, the Smooth Shot Vanilla campaign takes a fresh look at traditional ways of serving whisky, with outdoor and digital activity launching in France.
Warsaw, 2 Nov 2026: Stock Spirits Group has unveiled a new campaign for Clan Campbell Smooth Shot Vanilla, its vanilla whisky liqueur, to mark the product’s launch in France. Created with Herezie, the campaign revisits the conventions traditionally associated with drinking whisky.
With its distinctive vanilla flavour, Smooth Shot Vanilla offers a new expression of Clan Campbell. Made from authentic Scotch whiskies with added vanilla notes, the liqueur has been developed to be enjoyed chilled, in a shot glass.
Herezie built the “Qu’importe la manière” (“No Matter How”) campaign around the way of serving. The creative breaks away from traditional imagery associated with serving whisky, to showcase Smooth Shot Vanilla served chilled in a shot glass or less conventional alternatives, including an egg cup, an espresso cup or even the bottle cap.
Through a series of print executions and digital films shot by New York photographer Alex Lau, the campaign offers a contemporary interpretation of the brand, highlighting Clan Campbell Smooth Shot Vanilla’s versatile service proposal and playfulness.
Anne Martin, Chief Marketing Officer at Stock Spirits Group, said: “Whisky comes with plenty of traditions. The right glass. The right way to serve it. But who says we can’t challenge convention?
“Smooth Shot Vanilla brings a new expression to Clan Campbell, combining Scotch whisky with vanilla notes in a liqueur developed to be served chilled as a shot. Working with Herezie, we have put that accessible taste and way of serving at the heart of a campaign that takes a fresh look at whisky’s familiar visual traditions.”
The campaign is rolling out in France across outdoor and digital channels
