Distell International & Stock Spirits announce new route to market partnership in Italy & Slovakia

We are pleased to announce that Stock Spirits Group has entered into a distribution partnership with Distell International Ltd for the distribution in Italy and Slovakia of some of the Distell premium portfolio.

As part of the agreement, Stock Spirits Group will be the exclusive distributor within Italy and Slovakia of an important part of Distell’s portfolio of brands, including the famous African cream liqueur “Amarula”, the Scotch Whiskies “Black bottle” and “Scottish Leader”, and the Cognac “Bisquit”.

Fraser Thornton, Managing Director, Distell Europe, said: “We are delighted to be working with such strong distribution businesses in these two markets and we look forward to the long-term development of our relationship and our brands with committed partners.”

Mirek Stachowicz, Interim CEO of Stock Spirits, commented: “We are very pleased that a highly respected business like Distell recognises the strength of our distribution platform in these countries. This step shows Stock Spirits’ commitment to strengthening our premium portfolio and entering into some of the categories where we are not currently present, such as Scotch whisky, which is a growing category in all of our markets. This is also a step towards delivering on the objectives set out following our strategic review earlier this year.”
